Job Summary

Manage a significant real estate portfolio by overseeing fiscal accounting, developing operational budgets, and implementing systems to achieve 0% rent delinquency. Direct the personnel and performance of up to 10 sites by visiting communities a minimum of 3-4 times per week, coaching leaders, and making staffing decisions. Coordinate on-site operations including vendor relationships, capital projects, and compliance matters while resolving resident concerns, maintenance issues, and security breaches. Assist in lease-up strategies, capital improvements, and subsidy voucher preparation to maximize portfolio financial performance. Ensure adherence to property management rules and regulations by responding promptly to housing violations and liability concerns.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a community management position
  • 7+ years in multifamily experience
  • affordable housing experience
  • Lease Up / New Development experience
  • intermediate skill level of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit/Bond/conventional qualifications
  • Frequent travel within the region
