Job Summary
Regional Manager leads Commercial Lending by acting as player-coach for Commercial Lender I–IV, driving strategy, portfolio quality, and member experience. Responsibilities include cascading goals and initiatives, coaching lenders, overseeing underwriting and closing with delegated authority, maintaining a reduced personal loan portfolio, and supporting business development and market expansion. Requires 5+ years of progressive commercial lending experience with leadership, a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred), strong communication and strategic planning skills, deep knowledge of credit union regulations, and proficiency in MS Office. The role emphasizes risk management, policy adherence, team development, and cross-functional collaboration with Credit Analysts, Lender Support Specialists, and Commercial Operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field required or years of experience in lieu of a degree. MBA or equivalent preferred. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
