Job Summary
Lead the South East Queensland engineering team, overseeing project delivery, commercial performance, and profitability while managing resources to meet client commitments. Monitor operational metrics, identify commercial risks, and proactively govern stakeholder communications. Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, support major proposal preparation, and foster a culture of accountability and technical excellence. Report to the General Manager in a senior leadership role with autonomy.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading an engineering consultancy, business unit or regional operation
- Strong commercial and financial management skills with responsibility for project performance and profitability
- Proven experience managing significant engineering project portfolios and leading high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to build lasting client relationships and identify opportunities for business growth
- Experience managing resources, forecasting workloads and maintaining team productivity
Desired Qualifications
- An engineering qualification is preferred, particularly Electrical Engineering
