Job Summary

Manage a significant real estate portfolio by overseeing up to 10 sites and a diverse workforce, visiting communities at least three times weekly. Lead staff performance through coaching, feedback, and annual assessments while coordinating on-site operations including budget implementation, vendor relationships, and rent collections. Drive fiscal strategy by developing operational budgets, reviewing monthly financials, and implementing systems to achieve zero rent delinquency. Oversee large capital projects, prepare subsidy vouchers, and respond to resident concerns, housing violations, and emergency situations. Ensure compliance with regulations and foster high morale through active listening and transparent communication with residents, staff, and corporate partners.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a community management position
  • 7+ years in multifamily experience
  • Lease Up / New Development experience
  • Intermediate skill level of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit/Bond/conventional qualifications
  • Frequent travel within the region
  • Regional corporate and industry travel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with residents, housing/tenant associations, senior executives, business vendors, community team members, and investor contacts
  • Ability to work well under time and other constraints

  • Must visit the communities with the assigned portfolio a minimum of 3-4 times per week
  • Responsible for managing up to 10 sites and a diverse workforce
