Job Summary
Carry out all management processes and ensure compliance for assigned multifamily properties, enforcing operating policies and procedures. Hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and coach property employees while resolving resident complaints and maintaining client/owner relationships. Prepare and implement annual property budgets, analyze rent rolls and financial statements, and develop operating budgets and capital expenditure plans. Prioritize work activities, meet deadlines, and utilize MS Office Suite and Entrata software. Some overnight travel is required, typically 2-3 nights per month.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must have five (5) years related experience in multi-family management leadership role or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of multifamily property management practices and processes: Fair Housing laws and regulations, building and grounds maintenance, resident relations, leasing, rent collection, eviction procedures, accounting principles, property safety, and use of property management and accounting software
- Valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
- Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor or Certified Property Manager credential
- Strong leadership skills customer service abilities, and verbal / written communication skills
