Job Summary
The Regional Property Manager will oversee day-to-day operations for a region of Fairstead communities, implementing leasing and marketing plans, budgeting, financial reporting, HUD compliance, resident relations, maintenance, and vendor coordination. Responsibilities include variance analysis for CFO, NOI monitoring, rent level management, voucher processing (TRACS), and ensuring site performance, safety, and tenant satisfaction across properties in the region. Qualifications emphasize experience as a Regional Property Manager, proficiency with YARDI/Realpage, REAC/MOR inspections knowledge, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with Affordable Housing and NYC market considerations; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience as a Regional Property Manager
- Proficiency in YARDI and Realpage is required
- Experience with preparation and oversight of REAC and MOR inspections
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to diffuse difficult situations
- Knowledge of the NYC residential market (Rent Stabilization, DHCR, HPD)
- In-depth knowledge of Affordable Housing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while demonstrating the initiative to produce results and resolve problems
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, vendors, and associates
- Adhere to tight deadlines and quick turnaround for deliverables
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment where adaptability is imperative
- Strong written and oral skills
- Accurate with a strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
