Job Summary
Lead regional operations by managing, mentoring, and evaluating Operations Coordinators across multiple testing sites to oversee vehicle testing, data collection, and hardware/software integration. Directly ensure safety protocols are enforced, operational KPIs are met, and testing procedures are standardized while aggregating regional data to set and monitor key performance indicators. Optimize resource allocation for efficient vehicle and personnel scheduling and serve as the primary point of contact for engineering teams to achieve strategic testing goals. Collaborate on regional readiness of tools and assets, audit test case execution on public roads and closed courses, and present high-level operational reports to senior leadership. Manage high-volume contract workforces and project driver headcount across diverse locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to travel frequently to various regional testing sites as needed
- Proven experience in a regional, multi-site, or high-level supervisory role
- Experience collaborating with external staffing agencies and managing high-volume contract workforces
- Proven track record of projecting and scaling driver headcount across multiple locations
- Strong proficiency in using data analytics, Google tools (Docs, Sheets, Maps), and dashboards to drive operational decisions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create complex regional updates into concise reports
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of making sound decisions in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Regional managers are required to work on-site at Rivian's facilities
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in professional automotive driving, fleet management, or autonomous vehicle testing
- Deep proficiency with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
- Technical background in troubleshooting and debugging automotive hardware and software systems
