Job Summary
Oversee entire operations of a housing community portfolio, managing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, and risk. Screen, hire, train, and coach on-site staff while approving timesheets and handling performance issues. Drive net operating income through cost control, budget development, and leasing strategy, ensuring accurate financial reporting and vendor reconciliation. Manage resident retention programs, handle complaints, and execute marketing plans to generate rentals. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and fair housing laws while maintaining property appearance and overseeing maintenance activities. Travel 25-50% of the time for property visits and training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor's degree preferred or four years experience in the housing industry
- one to two years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions
- basic computer skills
- basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
- basic knowledge of OSHA requirements
- Must be able to travel 25-50% of work time annually
