Job Summary
Regional Manager 3 (On-Site) oversees the operations of complex, multi-site residential portfolios in the New York Tri-state area, supervising management staff across assets with varied ownership structures, and coordinating with asset management, owners, and regulators. Responsibilities include monitoring building systems (SSDS, microgrids, Cogen, Geothermal, BMS, Shared Cooling Towers), overseeing CAPEX projects, ensuring regulatory compliance (LIHTC, RAD, Rent Stabilization/Fair Housing/Section 8), managing finances (shared cost allocations, CAM, multi-entity expense management, financial reporting), providing leadership to staff and property managers, driving budget and NOI improvements, coordinating with HR and security, and supporting acquisition transitions and new openings. Strong emphasis on leadership, collaboration with stakeholders, and proficiency in property-management software (Yardi) and MS Office; requires 9+ years of experience in a related operational role with a bachelor’s degree (or 10+ years without a degree).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of work experience, education and professional designations, certifications
- Must possess Affordable Housing and/or Market Rate experience – specific to the asset they are managing
- Real Estate license, preferred
