Job Summary
Ensure all assigned communities remain NSPIRE ready by identifying deficiencies and guiding on-site teams on corrective actions to meet compliance standards. Participate in scheduled construction walks, warranty inspections, and unit acceptance processes to document issues, coordinate contractor resolutions, and verify Pivotal standards before occupancy. Perform general and advanced maintenance tasks including HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to serve as a technical expert when properties are short-staffed. Onboard new technicians and provide ongoing in-person coaching to reinforce best practices, work quality, and efficiency. Monitor ION utility dashboards to identify consumption trends and support waste reduction initiatives. This boots-on-the-ground role requires frequent travel across Iowa and Illinois, including overnight stays, with a starting salary of $75K+.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent travel, including overnight stays
- Strong technical skills in HVAC
- NSPIRE compliance knowledge
- Apartment maintenance knowledge
- Ability to perform general and advanced maintenance tasks including HVAC troubleshooting and repair
