Job Summary
Perform general carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks, including drywall repair, painting, and appliance installation. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and safety systems like fire alarms and ventilation, then complete required reports and documentation. Collaborate with workers during renovations and notify the Maintenance Supervisor of any maintenance problems or areas needing attention. Maintain responsive communication with the agency, community contacts, and vendors while conducting garden upkeep, snow removal, and cleaning activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in 3 or more maintenance trades: electrical, plumbing, construction, HVAC, and mechanics
- High School Diploma / GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving and organizational skills
- Some working knowledge of computers
- Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment
