Regional Maintenance Manager - Southeast Region

Job Summary
Lead, coach, and support Area Maintenance Supervisors and on-site teams across a multi-state portfolio in Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Indiana, and Illinois, traveling up to three weeks monthly for on-site leadership, training, and inspections. Partner with Property Managers to recruit and retain maintenance professionals while establishing operations for new communities through procedure creation and team building. Manage large-scale capital improvement projects from planning to completion, oversee operating budgets, and conduct compliance inspections for OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing standards. Analyze work order trends to identify operational improvements, negotiate vendor contracts, and standardize preventative maintenance programs. Respond to escalated issues and provide emergency leadership as required.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of multifamily maintenance leadership experience, including multi-site oversight
- Experience supporting portfolios totaling 1,500+ apartment units
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale capital improvement (CapEx) projects and managing maintenance budgets
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, coaching, and team development skills
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building systems, preventative maintenance, OSHA, EPA, and regulatory compliance
- EPA Universal (or Type II) Certification
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Acceptable driving record
- The ability to drive extensively and travel overnight throughout the Southeast region
- Must be able to travel extensively (typically up to three weeks each month) throughout Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Indiana, and Illinois
Desired Qualifications
- Experience helping establish maintenance operations for new developments or rapidly growing portfolios is highly preferred
