Regional Maintenance Manager (Fresno Regional Operations)

Job Summary
Oversee maintenance operations across Oakland, Berkeley, and Alameda properties, ensuring curb appeal, building systems review, and timely completion of work orders and unit turnovers. Manage financial controls, budget forecasting, and capital projects while reviewing 3-bid packages and adhering to federal, state, and local regulatory requirements including NSPIRE compliance. Direct site teams and contractors, participate in hiring and discipline recommendations, and lead training initiatives. Respond to emergency situations during and after normal hours, conduct annual maintenance audits, and travel four days weekly to support property sites. Requires 8-10 years of experience, a driver's license, and availability for on-call activity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 8-10 years of relevant work experience
- 5-8 years of supervisory / managerial experience
- Strong background in preparing for NSPIRE and TCAC inspections
- A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy
- Travel 4 days a week to properties in Oakland, Emeryville and San Pablo
- Experience with web-based applications and computer systems such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities
- Strong communications skills with stakeholders and direct reports
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in small teams by offering ideas and identifying issues
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other relevant field
- Previous experience working with Union Labor Relations
- Previous experience with NSPIRE inspections
- EPA Universal certification
- CAMT certification
