Job Summary
The Regional Loss Prevention Agent is responsible for detecting and resolving theft and asset loss situations according to company standards. Key functions include conducting surveillance, routine inspections, and audits, monitoring security systems, reporting policy violations, and representing the company in court when necessary. Essential skills required include handling difficult situations with diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality, and operating necessary equipment. Candidates must be able to work varied hours, possess a valid driver’s license, and be at least 18 years old.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to perceive situations accurately
- Ability to maintain a fair, consistent set of standards, using judgment and discretion
- Ability to maintain records and documentation
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job
- Ability to work alone or in a team capacity
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills
- Ability to travel in between stores within a region by possessing a valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to see or hear activity in the store, and perform all functions as set forth above
- Must have a full understanding of Civil and Criminal Laws set forth by the police and/or District Justice.
