Job Summary
Safely transport food-grade tanker freight, including soybean oil and corn syrup, while maintaining accurate ELD logs and trip paperwork. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, communicate professionally with dispatch and customers, and follow all FMCSA safety regulations. Plan routes efficiently to manage time effectively across local out-and-back and regional runs. This role offers mostly afternoon or evening start times with limited overnight trips, allowing drivers to stay home multiple times per week. Top drivers earn $90,000+ annually with weekly guaranteed pay, while newer equipment and paid orientation training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Age 21+
- Safe driving record and good MVR
- Tanker endorsement
- Ability to pass: DOT physical
- Ability to pass: Drug screen
- Ability to pass: Ergo/capability testing
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
