Job Summary
Manage community relations and government liaison across renewable energy assets in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, proactively resolving RoW challenges and stakeholder concerns to ensure uninterrupted project execution. Conduct periodic security and operational risk assessments, identify emerging threats such as protests or encroachments, and implement mitigation plans while establishing an effective local intelligence network. Coordinate emergency responses during disputes or law-and-order situations, provide real-time updates to leadership, and support EPC and O&M teams with disruption-free site access. Requires extensive travel and availability for emergency response outside normal hours. Act as the regional subject matter expert on local security dynamics and community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any 4 discipline
- 10–15 years of experience in: Security Management, Community Relations, Government Liaison, Infrastructure / Energy / Mining / Industrial Projects, Operations Support, Strong understanding of rural operating environments
- Physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions
- Regular computer usage
- Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment
- Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking
- Available for emergency response and site visits outside normal working hours when required
- Extensive travel across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu project locations
