Regional Lead/Senior Project Manager – Structures

Job Summary
Manage highway structures projects including bridges, culverts, and retaining walls by preparing workload and budget projections, conducting quality control and assurance reviews, and overseeing project schedules. Serve as mentor to Structures Design Department staff while performing business development activities such as attending marketing meetings, professional society events, and reviewing Requests for Proposals. Prepare Statements of Interest, Technical Proposals, and Price Proposals to pursue new opportunities. Requires 15+ years of experience, a Pennsylvania PE License, and familiarity with PennDOT or PA Turnpike projects. Based in Pittsburgh or Harrisburg, this role supports TPD's mission to improve public quality of life through dedicated engineering leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience
- Pennsylvania PE License required
- Previous experience with PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike projects
- Served as a Project Manager or Highway Task Leader
- Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Driver's License
- Willingness to work cohesively within a team
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Willing to attend marketing events
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on municipal, county, and city projects is a bonus
