Job Summary
Regional Lead – Rail Engineer responsible for providing regional leadership for railroad projects, overseeing delivery of rail projects across a regional portfolio, leading business development efforts, mentoring engineers and staff, managing key client relationships, coordinating with federal/state/local agencies, and ensuring QA/QC throughout project delivery; requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field), a PE license, 10+ years of rail/railroad infrastructure experience, and strong leadership, communication, and CAD/software proficiency; travel to project sites and client meetings across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in rail, transit, railroad infrastructure, and transportation / land development engineering projects
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary rail engineering projects and managing client relationships
- Understanding of CAD platforms and standard engineering software applications
- Strong business development, communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed to support project delivery and client engagement
