Job Summary

Perform 3D digital mammography imaging and quality control procedures while ensuring proper equipment function and addressing malfunctions. Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all exams, communicate with radiologists regarding results, and apply analytical skills to interpret images and verify patient information. Accurately complete patient information requirements, paperwork, and administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation and result delivery. Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements while adhering to mandated continuing education. Complete necessary medical records including consents, billing, and supply monitoring. Escalate results exceeding standard turnaround times to management or a radiologist. Perform all other job requests as assigned by the Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator. This role involves over 75% travel across affiliated OBGYN practices in Maryland and Virginia, with a schedule of 30+ hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
  • ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required
  • ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required
  • State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable)
  • Maintain registry status and continuing education
  • Minimum five years of mammography experience required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by job duties
  • Must be able to understand and follow safety instructions provided in English
  • Role requires reading and writing in English to complete documentation, reports, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to interact with customers, clients, or regulators in English as needed
  • Must be able to work independently without supervision
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must have good knowledge and understanding of mammography
  • This position is for 30 hours + a week
  • This role involves travel, accounting for over 75% of the time
