Regional KYC Operations Manager

Job Summary
Provide strategic direction for KYC operations in Limerick, ensuring alignment with global AML strategy and regulatory expectations. Act as the accountable owner for AML/KYC services, overseeing end-to-end delivery across onboarding, periodic reviews, event-driven reviews, and client exits. Maintain accountability for AML risk by identifying, assessing, and mitigating issues while ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements across all supported jurisdictions. Partner with Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Legal to support internal audits and regulatory examinations, and lead the implementation of regulatory changes impacting KYC processes. Oversee workload distribution, capacity planning, and resourcing to support business growth and volume fluctuations. Lead, develop, and mentor KYC leaders, building a strong leadership pipeline while driving talent development and succession planning. Represent Limerick AML operations in global governance forums and serve as a senior escalation point for complex, high-risk matters.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in AML/KYC operations within financial services (5 years plus)
- Deep expertise in AML/KYC regulations, global regulatory frameworks, and industry best practice
- Strong understanding of AML/KYC operating models, governance frameworks, and first line risk ownership
- Proven senior leadership capability with strong people management and talent development experience
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability and operational discipline
- Strong risk management mindset with the ability to manage complex issues
- College or university degree and / or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Work Authorization: Applicants must have the right to work in Ireland at the time of application and for the duration of employment
