Job Summary
Hybrid, Chicago-based role focused on expanding advisory relationships and growing business across the assigned territory. Own and manage a defined book of advisors with full accountability for sales activity, revenue contribution, and pipeline growth. Leverage CRM as the backbone of prospecting, relationship touchpoints, pipeline stages, and follow-up commitments. Influence advisors on the benefits of investment offerings, and assist in advisor-specific portfolio design. Develop fluency across the managed portfolios program, including investment philosophy, portfolio construction, performance attribution, and competitive differentiation. Communicate effectively across virtual meetings, phone, and written channels with a professional, client-focused presence. Partner with Divisional Sales Director to optimize territory coverage while independently running virtual advisor meetings that reflect the firm's brand and consultative approach. Collaborate with Portfolio Specialist and Investment Management on client-facing content requiring deeper technical or portfolio-level expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of financial services sales or asset management distribution experience
- Strong knowledge of managed accounts and SMAs; advisory business model
- Series 65/Series 66 or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
- Ability to travel up to 25% for in-person meetings, events, or sales meetings
