Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems for residential communities while responding to service requests and performing preventive maintenance. Manage accurate records and assist with general maintenance tasks as needed. Work a flexible schedule that includes an emergency on-call rotation. This role requires EPA type II certification and a personal truck capable of carrying equipment. Candidates must have at least two years of HVAC service experience and strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and electrical components. The position is based in Gainesville, FL, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service to residents.
Required Qualifications
- EPA type II
- Must have a truck that is in good working condition and capable of carrying required HVAC equipment
- Minimum 2 years of HVAC service, maintenance, and repair experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment, including split systems, package units, and heat pumps
- Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Organized, efficient, and able to prioritize service requests and preventive maintenance schedules
- Able to work a flexible schedule, which will include an emergency on-call rotation
- Proven track record of excellent customer service and resident satisfaction
