Regional Human Resources Director

Job Summary

Oversee regional HR operations across multiple facilities, managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. Develop and implement regional HR strategies that align with organizational goals while collaborating with facility leadership to drive employee engagement and retention. Lead the recruitment process for positions within the region, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates, and oversee the onboarding process for new hires. Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, resolving grievances, and investigating disciplinary matters in compliance with company policies. Maintain accurate HR records, prepare reports tracking key metrics such as turnover and recruitment success, and analyze data to improve processes. Coordinate training sessions for managers and employees on compliance, leadership, and performance management. Ensure all HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, overseeing workers' compensation and benefits administration. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and industry regulations while implementing company procedures consistently across all locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in human resources
  • At least 3 years in a leadership or regional HR role
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Experience overseeing HR operations across multiple locations
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and HR data analysis

Desired Qualifications

  • A Master's degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
  • Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or a similar industry
