Job Summary
Coordinate hiring and recruiting efforts for two Cromwell facilities by interviewing candidates, conducting reference and background checks, and managing pre-employment processes. Plan and execute payroll functions in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while ensuring new hires complete orientation and training. Assist with staff appreciation events, evaluate new hire performance within the first 90 days, and conduct yearly employee reviews. Requires four years of HR experience, knowledge of labor laws, and payroll expertise with a flexible schedule for holidays. Salary up to $70,000.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of HR experience
- Strong knowledge of Human Resource laws and regulations
- Experience working in an HR department with included responsibilities of recruitment and on-boarding
- Payroll experience with flexible schedule for holidays
- Prior experience overseeing HR tasks and duties for multiple facilities/entities
- Self motivated individual with superb time management skills & ability to work with a sense of urgency
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a nursing home or other healthcare setting
