Job Summary

AWCT seeks a Regional HR Manager to align HR practices with business goals, manage compliance, and foster an engaging workplace culture in a hybrid role within the automotive industry.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, including implementing HR programs, supporting organized labor, and coaching management.
  • Minimum of five years' experience handling grievances and collaborating with a unionized workforce.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential situations with discretion.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule as business needs require.

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • Broad HR generalist background with knowledge of employment law, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, labor relations, and training and development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational abilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn additional HR systems as needed.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a team-oriented, participative approach.
