Job Summary
Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle for Allegro's China sites, including talent assessment, record integrity, benefits delivery, and localized onboarding and offboarding programs. Serve as the primary HR leader and cross-functional integrator, partnering with Finance, Legal, IT, and EHS to drive regulatory compliance with local government bodies and manage office operations. Lead the annual performance and reward cycle for the region while localizing global HR initiatives and designing China-specific policies required by national labor laws. Act as a trusted advisor to local leadership on organizational effectiveness and workforce planning, ensuring continuous adoption of corporate governance standards across Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, and OSAT locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR Generalist/HRBP experience within a multinational company (MNC) operating in China
- Deep, up-to-date knowledge of PRC Labor Law, local employment regulations, and compliance standards
- Strong background in Compensation and Benefits (C&B) administration and partnering with payroll
- Proven ability in organizational change management, data analysis, and structured problem-solving
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Highly self-driven and comfortable working independently in a highly matrixed, global environment with limited local precedent
- Proven ability to advise, guide, and persuade senior regional leaders and global partners on complex HR matters
- Work arrangement is hybrid, expecting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week
- Travel expectations are approximately 10% domestic within China and occasional international travel
