Job Summary
Regional Hospital Laboratory Director at Labcorp in Charlotte, NC to lead and direct hospital laboratories within the market, ensuring quality results, proper staffing, financial vitality, and a collaborative team environment; ensure adherence to laboratory policies and procedures, coordinate with hospital administration and laboratory leadership to meet financial objectives, drive process improvements and method implementations, oversee regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, state, ISO), and partner with Medical Directors, Professional Support Leaders, and Health System Leadership to meet provider and patient expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
- 5 years or more of clinical laboratory experience within a supervisory or management role
- ASCP or AMT certification
