Job Summary
Regional Hospice Admissions Nurse is responsible for evaluating and admitting patients, developing individualized plans of care, coordinating patient care services, and documenting assessments in the home setting. The role requires RN licensure in the branch state, approximately one year of nursing experience, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license; travel regionally and on-call participation are part of the schedule. This full-time position serves Dunn, NC and surrounding counties (Sampson, Wayne, Harnett, Johnson) with responsibilities including adherence to LCD guidelines, care planning, and comprehensive documentation; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure within the state of branch location
- One year of clinical nursing experience
- Must be able to provide effective health care services to patients in their home setting
- Must accept regional travel and working conditions as assigned
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Must be able to use a personal computer with basic software (Windows, Word, Excel)
- CPR certification required
- Minimum of twelve hours continuing education annually
- Must have a valid driver’s license
