Job Summary
Regional Healthcare Security Services Manager responsible for overseeing security operations across multiple healthcare facilities in a designated region. Lead security functions, develop and evaluate security policies and procedures, conduct audits, ensure operational security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms), supervise security personnel, provide ongoing training, manage incident investigations and responses, ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations, coordinate with law enforcement, and align security measures with patient care objectives. Requires leadership, risk management expertise, and ability to respond effectively to security incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, or a related field or equivalent years of experience (Master’s degree or CPP/PSP preferred)
- Experience: 5 years minimum in security management, with 3 years minimum in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience in healthcare or a similarly regulated industry is highly preferred
- Certifications: CPP or PSP preferred; CPR and First Aid certified or willingness to obtain
