Job Summary
Regional Health and Wellness Specialist provides on-site clinical operations support across assisted living and memory care communities within a defined region, offering leadership coverage during vacancies, coordinating clinical onboarding and training, driving regulatory compliance, and supporting the implementation of corporate clinical initiatives. The role requires frequent travel to Cogir communities, supports health and wellness directors and care teams, oversees quality in clinical documentation and patient care, and partners with regional and national leadership to ensure consistent clinical practices and high-quality resident care.
Required Qualifications
- Active license in LVN/LPN or RN in state(s) covered by the position
- Must hold an active and unrestricted license in the state(s) covered by this position (or be willing to obtain)
- RCFE Administrator Certification is preferred for California-based positions
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Health and Wellness leadership role within licensed assisted living or memory care communities
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience managing clinical or care staff
- Strong knowledge of state assisted living regulations and survey processes
- Ability to travel frequently to support communities across the assigned region
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
- Strong clinical training and mentorship abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Compassion for and commitment to serving the senior population
