Job Summary
Manage the logistics network for the Americas at a corporate level, ensuring cost-effective operations and timely delivery of goods. Negotiate, define, and review regional contracts across FG lanes originating in the Americas and RM lanes destined there, while overseeing KPIs and quarterly business reviews for logistics platforms in Dallas, Brownsville, Guadalajara, Louisville, Monterrey, and São Paulo. Control shipment schedules for raw materials and finished goods to and from YAGEO plants and hubs, maintain inventory at distribution centers, and lead savings and special projects. Monitor worldwide export compliance, CTPAT, and ITAR controls while managing logistics systems and budgeting. Report periodically to the Head of Global Logistics with three direct reports in an onsite role.
Required Qualifications
- Technical bachelor's degree or master's degree
- 5 years related experience in Supply Chain/Logistics
- Basic knowledge of import-export, especially MX/US border crossing operations, cost control, export compliance
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems independently and make results-driven decisions
- Oracle E-Business Suite
- AS400, SAP
