Job Summary
Lead the district group fitness team by strategizing and coaching to maximize class attendance and deliver safe, high-quality workouts. Manage all aspects of hiring, training, and development while optimizing staffing, scheduling, and class sizes through data analysis and industry trend monitoring. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Facilities teams to align objectives with business goals, maintain safety protocols, and drive performance toward targets like zero class cancellations and zero injuries. Travel 50%-70% of the time using personal vehicles, with availability for urgent matters outside standard hours. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of multi-unit experience, demonstrating successful oversight of multiple locations within the fitness industry or a similar field
- Nationally accredited Group Exercise Certification
- Group Fitness Certification, Specialty Certification, CPR Cert.
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 10 years Customer Service
- Strong understanding of operation processes, customer relationship management, and market dynamics
- Collaborative mindset, working seamlessly with senior management and cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Exceptional communication skills, encompassing both verbal and written
- Relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions
- Previous experience delivering excellent customer service and training
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a fun and approachable personality that builds strong relationships
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Demonstrates excellent time management skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities, and maintains proficiency in meticulous record-keeping
- Identifying and resolving challenges through effective problem-solving techniques
- Must successfully pass Background Check
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk throughout the workday
- Must be willing/able to travel 50%-70% of the time
- Use of personal vehicles for local locations with relevant reimbursement
- Available to respond to urgent matters outside of standard business hours
