Job Summary
Regional General Manager for O'Neal Steel responsible for leading all commercial activities within the assigned region across multiple locations, driving revenue growth, profitability, and market share. Develops district-specific strategies, budgets, forecasts, and performance targets; leads pricing strategy, customer development, and omni-channel initiatives; provides leadership and development for commercial personnel; collaborates across functions to optimize operations and drive customer value. Drives strategic account development, customer retention, and new business growth; monitors regional performance and implements corrective actions; fosters a high-performing culture aligned with company values. Must have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of commercial leadership experience, with strong financial acumen and exceptional communication, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills. Includes requirement to pass criminal background check and drug test.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (or equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial leadership experience
- Strong leadership, talent development, performance management, organizational planning, and change leadership
- Strong business acumen with understanding of financial statements, profitability drivers, pricing strategies, and operational impacts
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial activities in metals distribution/processing
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading multi-location commercial teams
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic regional plans
- Experience with omni-channel initiatives and eCommerce platforms
- Criminal background check and ability to pass drug test
