Job Summary
Lead regional operations across the Sunraysia region, ensuring safe, profitable, and efficient project delivery for road, renewable energy, and pipeline infrastructure. Develop and implement the regional business plan while driving financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability. Build and mentor a high-performing team of Project Managers, Engineers, and supervisors to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Strengthen relationships with clients, councils, and government authorities to identify new business opportunities and support tendering activities. Oversee workforce planning, resource allocation, and compliance with all contractual, legislative, and HSEQ requirements. Provide regular operational and financial reporting to the Managing Director.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive leadership experience within the civil construction industry
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and operational teams simultaneously
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing significant project portfolios and regional Profit & Loss
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor and develop high-performing teams
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience building long-term relationships with clients and industry partners
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on leadership approach
Desired Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
