Job Summary
Develop and implement regional strategies for the primary care portfolio, ensuring alignment with global and country-specific objectives. Lead the execution of regional marketing plans, optimize product growth, and oversee successful product launches and life-cycle management. Drive brand strategies to strengthen equity across digestive care, cardiovascular, and metabolic disorders while collaborating with sales, marketing, medical, and market access teams. Champion digital transformation, leverage data-driven decision-making, and monitor franchise performance to make strategic adjustments. Serve as a key liaison between country teams and regional/global leadership, presenting portfolio performance and strategic direction to senior leadership. Report to the Commercial Director, META, based in Cairo, Egypt, with 12+ years of experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Pharmacy, or related fields
- 12+ years of experience in primary care, commercial, sales and marketing management, or related fields within the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record in driving commercial growth and managing cross-functional teams in complex environments
- Expertise in developing and executing strategies to build strong brand equity in pharmaceutical markets
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute regional strategies aligned with global and local goals
- Ability to work effectively across sales, marketing, medical, and market access teams
- Expertise in managing alliances and providing strategic input into business development projects
- Strong ability to monitor business performance, use data-driven insights, and make informed strategic adjustments
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives and omnichannel strategies
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
- The position will be based in Cairo, Egypt
