Job Summary
Greet customers entering the branch and guide them to appropriate support while providing personalized advice on banking products. Perform a variety of transactions including processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cash checks with high accuracy. Engage in constant customer support in person and via telephone, making decisions alongside immediate supervisors as experience grows. Complete Rockland Trust's Teller Training program and perform any other duties assigned by management. This floating position supports multiple branch locations throughout the Pelham NH Area with a flexible schedule including weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using technology, including computers, to facilitate the achievement of business goals.
- Sales and service-oriented personality.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
- Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members.
- Ability to work within normal office requirements, with long periods of standing and continuous customer support.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness and ability to work within a flexible work week, which may include weekends, as customer needs dictate.
- Ability to successfully complete our training program.
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates should have 1-2 years prior teller experience or cash handling/customer service skills.
