Job Summary
Assess, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations while managing critically ill or injured adults and pediatrics. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment by performing regular equipment checks and complying with safety briefings. Collaborate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, and facilities to support physicians' orders and share shift change information. Ensure accurate documentation and records while maintaining required certifications, including CFRN within 24 months. Work on a 5 days on/10 days off rotation with company-paid crew housing, supporting patient transport and scene call work as part of Global Medical Response's air medical services.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area
- EMT Certification
- Trauma Certification in state(s) where required
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) certification within 24 months from date of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
