Job Summary
Provide patient care across the BJC Healthcare system as a Regional Float RN in Med/Surg/Telemetry, floating to up to 12 BJC hospitals within the Medical, Surgical, and Telemetry units. Requires 2+ years Med/Surg/Tele experience, willingness to travel between facilities in Missouri and Illinois, and ability to obtain an Illinois RN license. Shifts are 12 hours (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with every 3rd weekend and 2 holidays per year; includes a $20/hour float differential, shift differentials for nights/weekends/holidays, and a BSN differential. BSN preferred; BLS required. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Position is safety-sensitive and emphasizes nursing assessment, care planning, evidence-based practice, patient-family communication, and collaboration across interprofessional teams. Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Licenses: RN and BLS. Travel within the regional system is a core aspect of the role.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years Med/Surg/Tele experience
- Must be able to obtain IL RN license
- RN license (RN)
- BLS certification
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree
- Travel between BJC facilities in MO & IL
