Regional Float RN

Regional Float RN provides safe, continuous quality patient care across multiple units within a defined market and works as part of a market-based nursing resource team. The role involves being assigned to varying units during shifts to meet patient care needs and requires working in at least three facilities within the market. The position requires ADN/Associate Degree (required) with BSN preferred, current compact licensure, and experience in Med Surg, Tele, Critical Care, ED, or Women’s services. Additional required and preferred certifications include Cardiac dysrhythmia testing/education within 3 months of hire and NIH Stroke Scale certification on hire, with CPI and fetal monitoring coursework/certifications among specialty requirements. Strong customer-service orientation, effective communication, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and competency testing are emphasized; ability to interpret patient needs by age and modify care accordingly is required.
