Job Summary
Manage billing discrepancies and payment variances between corporate accounts receivable and customer payments by reviewing work orders, job logs, and regional data. Resolve disputes to correct payment errors and ensure accurate revenue capture, while serving as the primary contact between field branches and corporate billing. Identify recurring collection errors and partner with corporate to streamline the regional invoicing pipeline. Support Regional and Branch Managers with concise collections updates, relieving them of administrative burdens. Requires 2–4 years in bookkeeping or accounts receivable with strong analytical skills for data reconciliation.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years in bookkeeping, billing, accounts receivable, or operational administration
- Strong facility with numbers, data reconciliation, and investigating financial discrepancies
- Excellent written and verbal skills to work effectively with both field crews and corporate staff
- Works independently, attends to detail, and pieces together why numbers do not match
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and standard corporate ERP or billing software
Desired Qualifications
- Construction or field-services AR
- Familiarity with construction billing concepts — AIA G702/G703 progress billing, retainage, lien waivers, and Florida Notice to Owner / lien statutes
- construction accounting systems (e.g., Sage 300 / 100, Sage Intacct)
