Job Summary
Plan, execute, and finalize Group and local audits in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting and taxation statutory compliances within set deadlines. Serve as the key contact point with Group auditors and Finance to meet deliverables, managing hands-on data collection, analytical reviews, and report signing. Partner with Legal and Tax to complete filings and returns, while drawing up reconciliations of management results to audited accounts and reviewing audit adjustments. Monitor emerging technical issues, implement risk management processes, and ensure compliance with latest accounting standards and group policies. This role reports to the CFO - APAC, requiring a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of experience in IFRS and regional GAAP. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the position involves longer hours during closing periods and includes mentoring junior team members.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Chartered Accountant
- Proficient with IFRS and regional local GAAP
- Have good fundamentals of taxation framework
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in similar role, preferably within the advertising industry

- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
