Job Summary

Regional Financial Analyst who leads monthly financial reviews, quarterly forecasts, and annual planning cycles for a defined region. Develops budgeting models to support standard and customized contract negotiations, owns parts of the monthly close with accounting and operations, translates complex financial data into actionable insights, and leads high-impact ad hoc analyses for new programs and operational initiatives. Partners with operational leaders to align financial plans with business goals, ensures accuracy of financial statements, supports external audits, and identifies trends, risks, and opportunities to inform forward-looking decision-making. Requires extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and multi-entity financial management, plus proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel. Affects high-visibility outcomes across multiple departments and states.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting.
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and multi-entity financial management.
  • Systems: Experience with financial systems (Workday, Adaptive, or similar).
  • Microsoft 365 & Excel Expertise: Advanced Excel skills, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

Desired Qualifications

  • Healthcare & Multi Entity: Experience in healthcare, human services, or multi-entity environments.
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics: Power BI or data visualization expertise.
  • Certifications: CPA, MBA, or relevant certifications.
  • Management: Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Analytical & Insight-Driven Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Adaptability & Technical Agility: Adaptable and tech-savvy; comfortable learning new systems and supporting software implementations.
  • Executive Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to executives and directors with clarity and confidence.
  • Relationship Building & Collaboration: Ability to build relationships across all levels of management and foster collaboration between finance and operational teams.
  • Organization & Time Management: Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Problem Solving & Initiative: Proactive problem solver with a track record of identifying issues and recommending solutions in complex business scenarios.
