Job Summary
Regional Finance Officer based in Cairo to support Etihad Airways' Africa region with financial reporting, compliance, and business partnering across AP, AR, Revenue Accounting and GL. Requires delivery of financial and tax compliance, risk identification, budget support, KPI development, process improvements, and collaboration with department heads and stakeholders. Proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel, and Power BI is expected to deliver results and guidance on financial decisions. The role targets a senior accountant with 4+ years of post-graduation experience and a finance-related Bachelor’s degree, with Chartered Accountant or management accounting qualifications considered an advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Finance-related Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 4+ years post-graduation experience in finance (regional focus)
- Experience with SAP is advantageous
- Performance in financial reporting, compliance and business partnering across a region
- Experience with budgeting and process improvements in finance functions
- Strong communication with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Chartered Accountant or Management accounting qualification or working towards one would be an advantage
