Job Summary
Use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models. Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment while practicing safe job practices. Assist in training lower-level technicians, maintain electronic documentation of work performed daily, and support pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts. Travel to customer job sites for repairs when required and keep the service vehicle clean and professional. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours and on-call rotation during weekends only in special circumstances.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Ability to travel weekly to support business needs
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be clean shaven in order to enter worksites for EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
