Job Summary
Independently perform in-field diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment, operate and maintain mobile service vehicles, and communicate effectively with customers. Responsibilities include maintaining an accurate inventory of parts, ensuring thorough documentation of work done, and following safety regulations. Candidates must possess strong mechanical skills, a valid driver’s license, and an adequate toolset to perform their duties.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience performing service repairs
- Experience performing repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment
- Experience with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment
- Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes
- Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing
- Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Service ADVISORTM or other computer based diagnostic repair tools
Additional Requirements
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred
