Job Summary
Research and secure 60+ events annually across Chicago, Madison, and St. Louis, including Home Shows, community events, and Costco warehouse activations. Schedule, plan, and optimize all event logistics to maximize return on investment while monitoring marketing costs to hit benchmark goals. Lead a team of Brand Promoters and Field Leaders through interviewing, onboarding, and performance management, delivering in-field coaching and structured training on methodology and objection handling. Drive daily appointment generation goals and provide accurate lead forecasts, ensuring team members are on-script and equipped with strong product knowledge. Review leads daily to maintain standards and make data-driven decisions to improve conversion rates. Expect quarterly travel between markets and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be local to Burr Ridge, IL
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and optimize 60+ events per year across multiple markets
- Several years of experience in event and field marketing, with a track record of measurable results
- Must be available for a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and regular in-field presence at events and retail partner locations
- Exceptional training, coaching, and team development skills — the ability to take a good team and elevate it to the next level
- 2–5 years of experience managing a field marketing team
- Sales mentality with the ability to drive appointment and lead generation goals at every level — daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Strong budget management skills; ability to monitor and control marketing spend to hit performance benchmarks
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess KPIs and make proactive, data-driven decisions
- Ability to self-manage time and resources across multiple markets and competing priorities
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills
