Regional Field Manager, North Dakota - Fargo

Job Summary
Identify and motivate local leaders in Fargo and surrounding areas to advocate for policy change, then equip them with training and resources. Organize public engagement events through phone calls, social media, and face-to-face neighborhood canvassing, while innovating unique outreach methods for public policy initiatives. Manage part-time canvassing contractors by overseeing time management, legal compliance, and best practices. Ensure regular contact with activists to maintain their motivation and activity levels. Requires a valid driver's license for travel across North Dakota, flexibility for evening and weekend work, and experience in grassroots advocacy or political campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for people and can build relationships quickly with people from all walks of life and understand how to inspire and motivate them
- Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes
- Self-motivation, always looking for the best way to use your time to accomplish objectives
- Organization skills and the ability to keep multiple events and activities on track for yourself and the people you engage to help you
- Works well with a team of people, including AFP staff and activists you engage
- Excitement to canvass neighborhoods and make phone calls for AFP priority initiatives and AFP action endorsed candidates, as well as motivate and coordinate volunteers to do the same
- A valid driver's license to be able to travel as needed to meet with people in your area and across North Dakota, as needed
- Willingness to work a flexible and changing work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed

Desired Qualifications
