Regional Field Manager

Job Summary

Develop and execute data-informed membership recruitment and retention strategies within the North region 6, scheduling and delivering a minimum of six events monthly during peak season and three at other times. Conduct at least four in-person field visits per month to support troops and service units, while recruiting, appointing, and onboarding volunteers into key leadership roles. Build partnerships with community organizations, schools, and faith-based groups to increase visibility, and provide concierge-type support to members, prospects, and volunteers using Salesforce for documentation. Work a flexible hybrid schedule with 70% field travel and 30% administrative duties, including evenings and weekends as needed, to meet established metric goals and drive measurable growth outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or a minimum of two (2) years of professional work experience in membership organizations, sales, community organizing/engagement, volunteer support and coordination or other relevant/transferable experience
  • Strong interpersonal, public relations, and customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships both internally and externally
  • Effective presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in both formal and informal settings to diverse audiences of varying sizes (youth, adults, and community members)
  • Highly organized with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple events and projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability, with the capacity to assess situations, navigate diverse personalities and environments, and implement effective solutions
  • Sound judgement and strong decision-making skills, including the ability to manage conflict and maintain professionalism in challenging situations
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve practical issues while effectively managing competing priorities and variables
  • Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and tools
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment; demonstrates adaptability and flexibility
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and be willing to travel regularly throughout the council service area
  • Access to a motor vehicle
  • Successful completion of background checks
  • Maintain an active Girl Scout Membership

Desired Qualifications

  • Being bilingual in English and Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Haitian Creole
  • Experience supporting and managing volunteers, including recruitment, engagement, and retention
  • Prior Girl Scout experience or similar youth-serving or membership-based organization
  • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems or data management tools; familiarity with Salesforce
  • Background in sales or revenue-generating roles
  • Bilingual abilities
