Job Summary
Travel to assigned store locations according to a priority schedule, performing general repairs including paint touch-ups, carpentry, minor plumbing and electrical work, and fixture replacements. Proactively inspect facilities during every visit, logging issues and managing work orders in the CMMS platform. Serve as the on-site point of contact for third-party contractors, overseeing their work and verifying quality upon completion. Execute preventative maintenance schedules across all assigned locations and support capital improvement projects from preparation through post-project inspection. Perform routine safety inspections at every store visited and immediately report breaches of local or EU health and safety legislation. Available for after-hours work from time to time when required, with occasional business trips to other European locations. Based in the Netherlands or ready to relocate.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work (including fixture replacement)
- Ability to troubleshoot minor HVAC issues
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments
- Experience with CMMS platforms for work order management and recordkeeping
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel overnight to certain locations as required by the scope of the project
- Availability for after-hours work from time to time when required
- Comfort working at height and using ladders
- Ability to handle tools, equipment, and materials safely
- Based in the Netherlands, or ready to relocate
- Clear and proactive communicator
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across locations independently and consistently meet deadlines
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable with regular regional travel
