Job Summary
Regional Escrow Officer responsible for guiding contracts from initiation to close, verifying paperwork, and coordinating with lenders, underwriters, agents, buyers, and sellers to ensure titles are clean, taxes are paid, and funds are funded. You will manage the closing process end-to-end, maintain relationships with key industry players, and train escrow assistants to support opportunities for advancement. The role emphasizes attention to detail, organizational efficiency, problem-solving to avoid delays, and strong written and verbal communication to keep all parties informed and satisfied throughout each transaction.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; continuing education courses as required.
- Experience: Two to three years of escrow experience, both front- and back-end experience.
- Certification: Notary public and escrow officer licenses.
- Industry awareness: Technical knowledge of closing process.
- Computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Communications skills: Strong written and verbal skills to keep agents, buyers, sellers, and all other parties up to date with the process and work with them to resolve issues.
